Train: Brain training for runners-week 3

Happy day!Helped my husband with final organizing and then hosting of a first-time ever picnic and fly-in at a local airport. 200+ American and United airlines pilots and their families attended, and we had a whole houseload of guests for the weekend. My training suffered as a result, but the event itself was a great success.

Happy, happy about that. I'll pick things back up next week.

Week 3 of 20-week training program:

June 13 (Day 15 :: stretch + strengthen)
Stretch/Breathe 00:30 - Morning yoga/qigong set.

June 15 (Day 17 :: cross)
Rockford Garden Walk 2.5 mi 00:50 20:00 pace - Volunteered with a neighbor for this local event + then toured a majority of the gardens on this year's circuit. Even walked a beautiful crushed rock labyrinth in a nearby forest. It was cold, windy + sometimes rainy...but enjoyed it!

June 16 (Day 18 :: strengthen)
Yardwork 03:30 - A bit of gardening, a lot of weeding...

June 18 (Day 20 :: cross)
Poplar Grove 3.1 mi 01:00 19:21 pace - 6,233 steps on the pedometer during fly-in picnic event.
